Securing the Supply Chain: Risk, Sourcing, and Strategy

Join an important and timely roundtable discussion with Katelyn Christ, Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Supply Chain Center within the Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration (ITA), Industry & Analysis Unit.

This roundtable will spotlight her priorities for the Supply Chain Center and explore key areas of interest to our members, including:

  • Strategic sourcing
  • Supply chain risk management
  • How industry can work with government to strengthen supply chain security

The Supply Chain Center team is eager to hear from BENS members—specifically your insights on how the U.S. government, and Commerce in particular, can best support and promote resilient and secure supply chains.

This is a unique opportunity to engage directly with a key U.S. government leader and help shape a vital effort central to national and economic security.

Katelyn brings extensive experience across the national security and economic policy landscape. She previously served as a Policy Director at the Bureau of Industry and Security, Legislative Director at the National Security Council, and held roles at the Office of Foreign Assets Control and the House Financial Services Committee’s Terrorism and Illicit Finance Subcommittee. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia and holds an M.A. in Economics from George Mason University.

This will be a candid and interactive session following Chatham House rule.
