Introduction to Military Vehicle Technology & Mobility

The Introduction to Military Vehicle Technology & Mobility course provides a comprehensive foundation in the engineering science and technology underpinning modern military combat and logistic vehicles. Participants gain essential insights into the key operational and technical trade-offs among firepower, protection, and mobility—critical factors that shape decisions during project definition and acquisition.

Through 10 expertly designed and delivered modules, participants explore military vehicle design parameters, automotive performance, vehicle dynamics, and ground mobility. The course examines mobility technologies and lessons from past programs, equipping participants with a working-level understanding of the key design and technology choices during military vehicle development.

Designed for requirements developers, acquisition specialists, systems engineers, and military personnel, each module balances information delivery with active learning activities to enhance engagement. Participants receive a full-color printed training folder and supplementary reading materials, ensuring continued learning and practical application of course concepts.
