Dr. Eng. Masahiko Mori - Founder and President, DMG MORI

Dr. Eng. Masahiko Mori is a distinguished leader in the global manufacturing and machine tool industry, currently serving as Chairman of the Supervisory Board at DMG MORI. With a career spanning over four decades, Dr. Mori has demonstrated exceptional leadership and technical expertise, particularly in precision engineering and advanced manufacturing technologies.

He has been President of DMG MORI COMPANY LIMITED since 1999, where he has played a pivotal role in transforming the company into one of the world's foremost machine tool builders. His leadership continues to influence the industry through strategic innovation, global expansion, and integration of digital technologies.

Dr. Mori holds a Doctorate in Engineering from the University of Tokyo and a Bachelor' degree in Precision Mechanics from Kyoto University. His academic and industry contributions are widely recognized: he is Vice-President of the Japan Machine Tool Builders' Association (JMTBA), a Fellow of the International Academy for Production Engineering (CIRP), and a board member of Kyoto University Innovation Capital. He also serves as a guest professor at Kyoto University's Graduate School of Advanced Leadership Studies.

In addition, Dr. Mori is actively engaged in fostering international cooperation and innovation through his role on the Foundation Board of the Japanese-German Centre Berlin (JDZB). His career reflects a unique blend of technical depth, global perspective, and visionary leadership in manufacturing.
