3rd Digital Engineering for Defense Summit
To remain competitive against increasingly advanced adversaries, the United States is committed to delivering the warfighting advantage at speed and scale. To do so, the Department of Defense is prioritizing the modernization of its engineering practices to streamline and accelerate the development of advanced warfighting technologies, weapons, and platforms. DoD Instruction 5000.97 implements the use of digital engineering across acquisition and sustainment lifecycles to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and drive innovation in defense systems.
Defense Strategies Institute’s 3rd annual Digital Engineering for Defense Summit will focus on the integration of digital engineering tools, technologies, and practices that improve the design, development, acquisition, and life cycle management of complex defense systems. Attendees will hear from DoD leaders, innovative engineers, academia-members, and industry experts on the best ways to implement digital engineering practices for mission success. Topics of discussion will highlight advancements in modeling and simulation, digital twins, digital threads, AI/ML, and emerging technologies that are transforming the field of digital engineering. Join us at the 2025 Summit to engage with, ask questions of, and collaborate with key stakeholders to share best practices and discuss overcoming barriers to digital engineering adoption.
DSI’s team specializes in the extensive research and development of our Summits’ content and focus areas, and we will assemble the most respected minds in digital engineering and digital transformation across military, academia, and industry. Our non-partisan approach allows us to reach across all services and organizations to bring together a truly holistic group of decision makers and solution providers.
