Trade Expert: Arthur O'Meara

As a national-level speaker and consultant, Mr. OMeara brings with him more than 26 years of experience in international trade and trade compliance management. He is the principal of OMeara and Associates, Inc., a boutique trade consulting firm.

He is one of only two ICC Certified Trainers for Incoterms� 2020 Rules in the US, is a Licensed US Customs Broker, and has an MBA from DePaul University in Chicago. Based in the Austin area, his focus is on the development of compliance programs and training tailored for the corporate environment in the areas of import compliance/export controls, transfer pricing/valuation for international transactions, classification according to the HTSUS, service provider management, and the strategic use of Incoterms� Rules. He has managed CTPAT validations in North America, Europe, and Asia.
