11th Space Resiliency Summit
The 11th Space Resiliency Summit will bring together senior leaders, experts, and innovators to discuss the policies and operations necessary to ensure the safety and resiliency of US-space based assets and missions in an increasingly contested space domain. The 2024 Summit will highlight innovative technologies, strategies, and policies needed to assure continued space superiority for the U.S.
Amid an increasingly contested space domain, the Department of Defense is determined to ensure the U.S. is postured to maintain its dominance in space. For fiscal year 2025, DoD requested $33.7 billion for space programs, including $2.4 billion for space launch capabilities, $1.5 billion for more resilient position, navigation, and timing, $4.2 billion for more resilient and protected satellite communications, $4.7 billion for new missile warning and tracking architecture, and $12.3 billion for increasing the resiliency of existing DoD space architectures. The 2024 Space Resiliency Summit will convene military, government, industry and academia to highlight current challenges, emerging threats, and innovative solutions in developing resilient space architectures.
As adversaries are expanding capabilities to challenge U.S. assets in space, DoD and the military services are working to secure and enhance space infrastructure and develop robust solutions that can withstand the evolving threats in the space domain. Leading experts and innovators at the event will discuss future of resilient space architectures, the development of proliferated satellite networks, critical commercial partnerships, and advancements in cyber and electronic threat defense. The Summit will feature panels highlighting commercial tech solutions and space domain awareness efforts. Attendees at the 2024 Space Resiliency Summit will have the unique opportunity to gain valuable insights from key decision makers and subject experts on the critical topics affecting the space community and the importance of space dominance in modern warfare.
