Speaker and Presenter Information

Tyler Brooks is a machine learning engineer and AI engineering team lead in the SEI AI Division. Brooks combines the discipline of AI engineering with his background in system design and cybersecurity to assist the Department of Defense with operationalizing human-centered, robust, secure, and scalable AI solutions. Brooks specializes in generative AI and machine learning operations within the AI Division.

 

Shannon Gallagher is a machine learning scientist and team lead on the AI Engineering team in the AI Division. She works on implementing, customizing, and evaluating the effectiveness of the latest generative AI tools for government customers. Gallagher is currently focused on creating better mission-specific metrics for large language models. Shannon received her PhD in statistics from Carnegie Mellon University in 2019.

 

Dominic Ross is an AI workforce development engineer in the SEI AI Division. He addresses generative AI challenges that intersect with media technology, particularly misinformation, scalability, and workforce development. Ross collaborates with governmental agencies and educational institutions to enhance AI education and training.
