27th Biannual DoD/VA & Gov Health IT Summit

The 27th DoD/VA and Government Health IT Summit will bring together senior leaders from the DoD, VA, federal government agencies, academia, and industry to advance the field of health information technology and shape the future of healthcare delivery for Veterans and active duty servicemembers. Through interactive discussions, panels, networking time, technology exhibits, and fireside chats, attendees at this year’s event will explore new policies, tools, software, and systems aimed at enhancing the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of healthcare services.

This year’s Summit will explore the latest updates to DHA’s and VA’s electronic health record (EHR) modernization process across treatment facilities in the U.S. and abroad.  Leaders from the DoD, VA, and federal government health IT community will highlight the benefits of a unified, interoperable, common federal EHR in enabling patient centered care.

Further, the October 2024 Summit will highlight the ways DHA and VA are driving digital transformations, integrating advanced technologies like AI and data analytics, fostering partnerships, strengthening cyber security, and modernizing electronic health records.  Senior acquisition leaders will share their priorities for acquiring new technologies and healthcare solutions that can accelerate meaningful change in healthcare delivery.  Attendees will have the opportunity to contribute to and benefit from ongoing transformations in healthcare for Veterans and military members.
