11th EOD/IED & Countermine Symposium
The 11th Annual EOD/IED & Countermine Symposium will bring together experts, innovators, and policymakers to address critical challenges in explosive ordnance disposal, improvised explosive devices, and countermine operations. The 2024 Symposium will highlight cutting-edge research, technological innovations, domestic and international cooperation and counter-IED missions, and best practices in mitigating the threats posed by explosive hazards.
The Counter-IED Market is expected to reach US$1 Billion in 2025. DoD and the federal government are preparing for a new era of explosive ordnance disposal that will require innovative technology solutions to address new challenges. The 2024 EOD/IED & Countermine Symposium will convene leading experts and innovators to explore critical challenges, current initiatives, and future innovations in explosive ordnance disposal and countermine operations. Key themes of the conference include advancements in EOD techniques, large-scale clearance operations, innovative C-IED/EOD technology, and approaches to clearing landmines and unexploded ordnance (UXO) in post-conflict environments.
Amid an era of strategic competition, DoD, Federal Government, and the Military Services are striving to prepare for next-generation explosive threats it could face in future conflicts against more advanced adversaries.
