Electronic Warfare
Electronic Warfare is back and in 2013 we will bring together +17 high profile speakers and over 15 sessions to address the increasing pressure to converge electronic warfare, cyber, and information operations.
Why Electronic Warfare now?
- The Department of Defense is calling for spending $3.44 billion in electronic warfare and electro-optical countermeasures procurement
- The Pentagon has put in a 2013 budget request of $1.06 billion towards acquiring upgraded electronic warfare jets, and a further $187 million towards developing the Next Generation Jammer (NGJ) as the Navy’s primary airborne electronic warfare system.
- The U.S. Navy has a sizable electronic warfare program on tap for next year -- the so-called "soft-kill" portion of the Ship Self Defense (SSD) program
Don't miss the opportunity to explore new technologies and programs within the Electronic Warfare industry such as:
- CEASAR (Communications Electronic Attack with Surveillance and Reconnaissance) program
- BLOS (Beyond Line of Sight) jamming capabilities
- Multispectral IR Focal Plane Arrays (FPAs)
- CMOS IC technology
- NGJ (Next Generation Jamming)
- E/A-18G Growler Integration
