Multi- Domain Operations Workshop

This year’s MDO workshop will build upon this theme going beyond the classical separation of the lifecycle phases, ie. experimentation, contractor test, developmental test, operational test and training, with each having their own discrete experimentation or test phase to a continuum of test and evaluation from warfighter gap identification through to the operations and sustainment of the gap solution. We will focus on going outside the historical program life cycle to a capability delivery continuum with a campaign of learning foundation throughout. Our intent is to pique discussions on how to transform the DoD to this new paradigm, leverage the power of the digital engineering tools, optimize the use of M&S, and set in place a foundation of data sharing across the continuum while blending experimentation and test. We will still present and discuss the challenges associated with the support of the individual milestone phases, after all they are the building blocks of this continuum concept.
