Twitter Chat: Using Digital Health Communications to Change Behavior
ICF International and the National Institutes of Health's (NIH) National Cancer Institute (NCI) will cohost a live Twitter chat featuring NIH's Dr. Abdul Shaikh in preparation for ICF's Health Information Forum on November 14th.
During this chat, we'll discuss:
- The state of health communication, big data, and the tools/technologies used to engage and inform the public
- Struggles and challenges in public engagement, dissemination, and harmonization of scientific data
- New informatics platforms to drive patient-centered communication
- The best ways for patients to access health data virtually and how new technologies have contributed
- Examples of mobile apps/digital health technologies that have helped improve people’s health
- How cancer patients and their families are highly engaged and motivated to utilize emerging communication and technology platforms
- The digital tools and technologies being developed to help patients and families dealing with the challenge of cancer and other health-related conditions
- Your thoughts/ideas on what we can cover at the Health Information Forum in November
