Simplified Acquisition Spotlight: DHS - ICE/TSA
If an easier way to find and win federal contracts existed, would you be interested?
The Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) were created to reduce the administrative burden for Government and Industry, and to create additional government contracting opportunities for small business concerns. It says so in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
While the process for issuing and awarding these requirements is streamlined, finding and winning these opportunities still requires due diligence to understand who is spending money on the goods and services offered by your company. But we think it’s well worth the effort since federal agencies spent a whopping $16 billion dollars on goods and services in FY11. This was a four billion dollar increase over FY10 spending and more than $12 billion dollars greater than FY09 spending.
Each Simplified Acquisition Spotlight webinar is an interactive opportunity to learn about current spending at specific federal agencies and sub-agencies to include what’s being purchased, by whom and where the goods and services are being used (place of performance).
Attendees will be provided background information about Simplified Acquisitions, and tips for identifying and contacting buyers who issue these opportunities.
