For more than 20 years, he has led teams focused on the advancement of broadband communications, and was recognized by Tech America with the 2011 Innovator Award for Government Services. Prior to his current role, Smith served as president and CEO of Ericsson Federal Inc. where he established the company as a leader in delivering broadband communications to the civilian and defense government communities.

A $50 billion public pension fund. Since 1989, the Private Equity Program at VRS has committed approximately $11.0 billion to over 250 partnerships. Investments are allocated to a mix of venture capital, buyout, growth capital, mezzanine, distressed and energy funds. Prior to coming to VRS in 2000, Mr. Alouf worked for Private Advisors, a private investment firm focused solely on alternative assets.
Kelly Yang Blackborow, Senior Portfolio Manager, The World Bank's Pension Plan
She is a member of the Private Equity team of the World Bank’s Pension and Endowments Department. Prior to joining the Bank in 2004, Ms. Blackborow spent two years working as an Investment Banking Analyst for UBS’s Financial Sponsors Group. Christine Kelleher, Senior Investment Officer, Georgetown University Endowment
She is primarily responsible for non-U.S. and private equity investments. She joined the Investment Office at its founding in July 2004. Previously, Christine worked in the Center for Eurasian, Russian, and East European Studies in Georgetown's School of Foreign Service. From 1995 to 1999, she served as a member of the management team and as an officer to the Board of Trustees of the Central European University in Budapest, Hungary.
