The 5 W's of Bid Protests

As the federal end-of-fiscal year budget decisions are finalized, awards, and accompanying bid protest activity will be ramping up. Sit in on this Federal Procurement Bid Protest live webinar to prepare yourself to submit, and perhaps defend, an award gone awry. The primary goal of the presentation is to take the mystery out of challenging a federal agency’s award decision by addressing the “who,” “what,” “where,” “when,” and “why” of bid protests.

The 90-minute webinar will center on bid protests at the U.S. Government Accountability Office, but will also explore protests filed with the procuring agency as well as protests filed at the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. The speakers will look at strategic factors that participants can use to determine which protest forum is best in any given situation. Finally, the presentation will outline the mechanics of filing a protest at the U.S. Government Accountability Office (the most popular forum), including a discussion of the importance of satisfying the timing requirements in order to obtain the automatic stay of contract performance.
