Modern military missions increasingly rely on the processing and contextualization of data from diverse and proliferating sources. The challenge lies in swiftly analyzing this data, much of it generated at the tactical edge, and making informed decisions while the data remains relevant and accurate. Traditional methods of sending data to centralized datacenters are too slow and cumbersome, especially in denied, disrupted, interrupted, and limited (DDIL) edge environments. Therefore, the emphasis is shifting towards gathering, analyzing, and generating decision-support information as close to the front lines as possible, enabling swift information sharing amongst US forces and coalition partners.
