Towards Net Zero Strategy: The One Million Trees Project

Bundaberg Regional Council developed an ambitious program to plant one million trees in the Bundaberg region by the end of 2024. This program will not only minimize the council’s carbon footprint, it will help them reach their goal of achieving a regional net zero carbon target by 2030 among other far reaching positive impacts on the region.

Join Granicus for a complimentary webinar to learn how Bundaberg Regional Council leveraged their community engagement website, Our Bundaberg Region, to gather feedback from their community members and promote the program throughout the region. Specifically during this webinar, Mel Hagedorn, Granicus Director of Client Services, will chat to key members of the Bundaberg Regional Council’s One Million Trees Project:

  • Trish Mears, Community Engagement Advisor
  • Carmen Bracken, One Million Trees Project Officer
