PENTAGON BOOSTS CONTRACT AUDIT FUNDING: DCAA and DCMA Plan to Increase Auditors by 15.6% and 19.5%, Respectively, Over the Next Two Years
*WashingtonPost.com, February 2012
With an increased effort to reduce the audit backlog that has grown since 2011, the U.S. Department of Defense is taking proactive, financial steps to improve audit quality and efficiency. According to a Pentagon spokeswoman, DCAA expects to complete $175 billion of incurred cost audits in fiscal 2013, up from $19 billion in fiscal 2012.
There has never been a more critical time to make sense of key cost or pricing requirements, and gain practical tools for DCAA audit preparation!
You cannot afford to miss American Conference Institute’s DCAA Audit & Compliance Boot Camp in San Diego. At this practical, nuts and bolts course, participants will have the unique opportunity to delve into core cost or pricing, and audit requirements, and learn from leading government contractors in a highly interactive setting. Each session has been carefully structured to provide you with a solid foundation for applying the requirements to your daily work. Speakers will engage in a step-by-step analysis and explanation of key concepts and developments that are critical to your business.
