FCW Summit: CDM
This event qualifies for 5 CPEs
As the Continuous Diagnostic and Mitigation (CDM) program matures, it continues to evolve its capabilities to help federal agencies improve their security posture. From access to critical executive dashboards and shared services to guidance on secure acquisition strategy, CDM offerings provide a dynamic approach to fortifying the cybersecurity of government networks and systems.
The increased focus on cybersecurity following President Biden’s 2021 executive order and high profile cyber attacks placed a renewed urgency on CISA to bring more agencies onto the program so the government can have the most comprehensive view of enterprise security. With CDM dashboards for 23 of the largest agencies now fully deployed, CISA is able to accelerate its mitigation techniques. This enhanced data visibility is especially critical at a time when a distributed workforce, hybrid cloud adoption, and the migration to modern network environments have introduced a growing complexity to federal IT environments.
The CDM Summit will explore offerings and new capabilities in each of CDM’s five key program areas. Learn from program executives, industry leaders and agency users about how CDM technology improvements will enhance federal cybersecurity posture.
Attendees will come away with an improved understanding of:
- Agency success stories leveraging CDM dashboards
- How CDM is evolving offerings for non-CFO Act agencies
- Progress towards automating cyber monitoring and threat detection
- How new and existing visibility and monitoring efforts, like the SCuBA project, the Trusted
- Internet Connections 3.0 use cases and others focused on the zero-trust security concept compliment CDM
- The role of emerging technology in enhancing cyber visibility
