AI/ML Meetup: How Googles Research Innovators use AI/ML to improve citizen services

Join this informal discussion with Google Research Innovators to see how they’re solving problems at the intersection of public sector research and policy to deliver improved services to citizens.

You’ll hear from Abhishek Dubey, Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Computer Engineering at Vanderbilt University, about how he’s using ML research to help the cities of Nashville and Chattanooga better plan their use of resources (like emergency services etc).

Among the topics we’ll discuss are how they got started, the tools they’re using, what inspires their progress, and the biggest challenges they’ve had to overcome.  We’re also setting aside ample time for questions, so bring your questions, challenges and imagination!
