A Crowdstrike study found that 45% of organizations experienced at least one supply chain attack in 2021 as ransomware’s vector-of-choice appears to be pivoting towards firmware. NIST, alongside industry firmware security-focused companies such as Eclypsium, Dell, Intel and HP, hope to illuminate current blindspots and make defense easier.
