Proactive Responses to the Community's Concerns: Successes in the Field for Today's ACO's

How many times have you received a call for service and you recognized the address before you even responded?  This happens far too often.  However, how often are you trying a different approach to address the issue?  If we want a different outcome, we need to try different approaches.  The community has come to rely upon the services provided by public health and animal welfare agencies.  This is especially true with the recent pandemic affecting our communities. This session will focus on proactive ways Animal Welfare Organizations can address calls for service at their core. We will explore some new and innovative ways Volusia County Animal Services has been addressing common animal welfare issues in Daytona Beach, Florida.
