Transparency in Public Utilities: What You Should Know
As water demand increases, and the need to expand delivery systems grows, it is imperative for water authorities to plan and fully manage the capital infrastructure process. Population growth and the replacement of aging water systems can be costly, driving the need for transparency and efficiencies in the development process. Constituents want transparency into government operations of all types, but it’s even more vital when it comes to a precious resource like water.
On February 9 at 11 a.m. Pacific/2 p.m. Eastern, Government Technology will talk with the Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District, located in a high-growth and water-challenged area of Southern California, about how they are using the cloud to transform their back-end operations; manage planned future growth; and provide residents with greater clarity around the planning and permitting process, and more.
