In an effort to enhance the Small Business GWAC program, GSA is working on the next-generation Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) called “Polaris”. The new contract will replace the $15B Alliant 2 Small Business GWAC that could not meet the evolving needs of federal agencies and GSA’s small business partners. 

The Polaris GWAC is not only intended to help agencies understand and acquire emerging IT service-based solutions, but also aimed at maximizing opportunities for small businesses in the federal IT market. Polaris promises to be a distinguished contract vehicle that federal buyers will utilize to help them on their journey to IT modernization.
