About Our Guest POCx
As CEO, Chris Taylor leads and inspires MEP's 8,200 professionals to realize the company’s vision –to enable human freedom – by aligning people, resources, and strategy. He divides his time among MEP’s various locations in the United States and abroad. Previously he served as MEP’s Senior Vice President for Global Strategy.

 

Taylor is a graduate of Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, where he studied international security and political economy, and earned a Master of Public Administration degree.

 

He spent 14 years in the US Marine Corps as an enlisted infantryman and Force Recon Marine. As a Marine, he was twice selected for meritorious promotion, and named the Distinguished Honor Graduate at the NCO Leadership Academy. He finished his undergraduate degree while serving on active duty. After leaving the Marine Corps in 1999, he attended the College of William & Mary where he earned his MBA in 2002 and received the Dean’s Award for Leadership and Service at graduation.His writing has been featured in op-eds, journal articles, textbooks and policy publications.
