Rian Quinn, PhD, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Assured Information Security (AIS)
Rian Quinn has more than 13 years of experience in the following areas: hypervisor/kernel development, trusted computing, cybersecurity, covert communications, side channel attacks and machine learning. He also has 11 years of technical management and business development experience.
Quinn holds a PhD in Computer Engineering with specializations in Information Assurance and Computer Architectures from Binghamton University. He is a co-founder and lead developer of the Bareflank Hypervisor, and has contributed to several open source projects including Bareflank, Microsoft's Guideline Support Library (GSL) and OpenXT.
Quinn has almost 20 years of experience programming in C, C++ and assembly and has two patents in trusted computing. He has also written two books on C++ including Hands-On System Programming with C++ and the Advanced C++ Programming Cookbook.
