How to Speak the Proposal Language

The Fort Detrick Business Development Office (FDBDO) offers a series of free webinars geared to educate novice and experienced contractors on various federal contracting issues such as marketing, capture management, insurance requirements, and proposal writing. The next webinar, “How to Speak the Proposal Language” is scheduled for September 22, 2011 from 12:30pm- 1:30pm eastern time.

This course has three segments to help you improve the competitiveness of your proposals.

• “Planning Your Content” explains tools you can use to efficiently organize your proposal response against the RFP.
• In the “Maximizing Your Evaluation Score” portion, you’ll learn simple ways to make your proposal pack more punch.
• Finally, “Getting the Words Right” provides best practices in proposal writing, including tips for writing persuasively for a government audience.

This advanced government proposal writing course is for companies that are familiar with the RFP and proposal processes and are interested in tips for improving content easily.

The webinars are being organized and coordinated the Fort Detrick Business Development Office (FDBDO) which was established in 2005 through a government contract awarded by the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command’s U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity to support Fort Detrick. Since its inception the FDBDO has assisted over 2500 companies better understand and participate in the business opportunities at Fort Detrick and navigate through the complex government procurement process.
