NEW:  ABOUT Our Relationship Forum: 

To accelerate access to key relationships with DOD Top Large Prime Contractors, we will host a Relationship Forum following our standard breakfast program.  According to a recent memo from the Air Force Service Acquisition Executive, Air Force has placed “special attention” on contracting with Small Business.  In support of DOD priorities driven by the White House, Air Force intends to award $6 Billion to Small Business to close out the 2011 fiscal year.  In line with our three “R’s” of business development:  Relationships; Research and Reality, we recognize that small business may not have the full capacity to accept substantial contracts targeted for them in the rapid award cycle nor the ability to quickly establish a relationship with a Large Prime to support the opportunity.  As such, Mountaintop is hosting a Large Prime Contractor “Relationship Forum” for Small Businesses to establish or enhance relationships with DOD Large Prime Contractors.  Participants include IBM, L-3, Serco, and others to be announced shortly.  Direct discussions with Large Prime Contractors hosting individual tables for small business participants will be facilitated during the relationship forum.
