Pacific Spectrum Management Conference 2011

The Annual Pacific Spectrum Management Conference (PSMC) will be held 25-29 July 2011 at the Ala Moana Hotel in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Hosted by the Joint Frequency Management Office PACIFIC (JFMOPAC), this 5 day conference will be the forum for JFMOPAC to meet the Frequency Managers from each regional office. The Conference consists of sessions and discussions regarding updates in the frequency and spectrum arenas, with exhibit days Tuesday 26 July and Wednesday 27 July.  The 2011 conference theme "Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations in Support of Humanitarian Assistance / Disaster Relief,"emphasizes focus on military users gaining access to the electromagnetic spectrum during human assistance / disaster relief through collaborative coordination with host nation spectrum management representatives. Additionally, conference attendees will engage in spectrum management issues associated with planning, executing operational exercises and contingencies.
