GEOConnect Series Training: Hands on Training with the Open Source Elastic Stack

The open source Elastic Stack (formerly ELK Stack) is the tool of choice for teams building scalable, real-time solutions for system and app monitoring, cybersecurity, search, and (of course) GEOINT analysis. This training will familiarize students with the basics of the stack, update them on recently introduced features, and provide a step-by-step demonstration of a basic end-to-end data collection and analysis pipeline that can be scaled up to bring geo-enabled, real-time, ad-hoc exploration and visualization to analysts and developers dealing with megabytes to petabytes of data. A series on hands-on labs will be available as homework!
