Women in Technology (WIT) Connect: Government Leaders at the Helm

Women in Technology (WIT) will hold its always-popular annual “Government Leaders at the Helm” “WIT Connect” program on Thursday, June 16, 6 pm - 8:30 pm at the Ritz, Tysons. 

WFED’s Amy Morris (co-anchor of The Federal Drive) will moderate a lively discussion with a cadre of senior executive women in the Federal Government.  The panelists include:  Linda Cureton, NASA (invited); Lesley Field, OFPP; Patricia Waddell, GSA; and, Dr Emma Garrison,  TSA (invited) who will address a range of issues such as the openness and transparency of government, the impact of the current budget environment, OMB’s 25 Point IT Reform Plan, cloud computing, the consolidation of data centers, advances in technology, the impact of social networking, the key challenges they face within their agencies and more.
