AFCEA Hampton Roads Maritime IT Summit

To protect the health and safety of attendees, this event has been rescheduled due to COVID-19 concerns.

The Maritime IT Summit is hosted by AFCEA Hampton Roads in conjunction with the DON IT Conference East on November 4-6, 2020. This is the fourth annual  summit held at Hilton Norfolk The Main hotel near the Norfolk waterfront. Key events that are planned include the Young AFCEAN social, small business event, HackWarz cyber competition, and the sponsored luncheon. 

The AFCEA Hampton Roads Chapter, in concert with NAVY DON IT EAST, continues to monitor the Federal and DOD guidelines regarding the current COVID-19 global health crisis.  Should the event be canceled, the Chapter intends to fully refund, minus transaction fees, any sponsors and attendee registrations who do not desire to redirect / donate to the AFCEA HamptonRoads Chapter (non-profit, tax deductible donations that can be converted to the appropriate longer term chapter sponsorships, STEM and our Education fund).  Thank you for Supporting the AFCEA Mission.

Our appreciation to those Sponsors and Speakers who have so far committed to support our annual AFCEA Hampton Roads event.  We know that this situation is temporary and at some point the government will return to normal operations. We will remain flexible and resilient in these turbulent times, which has been the partnership paradigm of the Hampton Roads Military Community.  It’s imperative that we continue to collaborate on operational concepts and technology availability to Modernize – Innovate – Defend the Mission!  The networking between government-industry-academia serves to speed capability to the warfighter that keeps America safe.  We will stay engaged during this critical time and will communicate as the situation evolves.  We will update this page and send e-mail notifications if there are further changes to our plans as a result of this evolving stiuation.     Be SMART!  Stay SAFE!  God BLESS !
