NSA SIGINT Development Conference
This  classified conference will focus on the preeminent intelligence issues  facing those who are tasked with Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) as part  of their mission. Over 1500 participants from the US intelligence  community and throughout the world will attend this conference.
The  exposition will be unclassified and will consist of a two-day event as  an adjunct to the SIGINT Conference. The conference sessions will be  conducted in a classified area (the Friedman Auditorium) in close  proximity to the exhibit area (located in the OPS1 Cafeteria Party  Room). Visiting the exhibits will be incorporated into the daily agenda  for the conference. As a result, vendors can expect to see the majority  of the 1500 attendees who will be participating in the conference. In  addition, the expo will be open to all NSA personnel on both days  ensuring a vast group of attendees.
What is SIGINT?
Signals  Intelligence is technical and intelligence information derived from the  exploitation of foreign electronic emissions which is comprised either  individually or in combination of communications intelligence (COMINT),  electronic intelligence (ELINT), and foreign instrumentation signals  intelligence (FISINT).
NSA's SIGINT mission protects the nation  by:
- Providing information in the form of SIGINT products and  services that enable our government to make critical decisions and  operate successfully.
- Protecting the rights of U.S. citizens by  adhering to the provisions of the 4th amendment to the Constitution.
-  Using the nation's resources responsibly, according to the best  management processes available.
