Join us for this information-packed seminar hosted by GSA/FAS National Capital Region.

This event is a unique opportunity for federal agencies in the National Capital Region to engage with GSA business development, acquisition and technical team experts, learn about GSA outreach efforts, earn CLPS and get hints on streamlining your acquisitions. Each GSA NCR FAS Business Line will provide a customized breakout session to best meet the federal agency customer needs.

Session Descriptions:
Assisted Acquisition Services - This course will provide an Overview of the GSA/FAS Assisted Acquisition mission and how this team can provide world-class acquisitions support services to agencies via inter agency agreement.

Order Level Materials (OLM) - GSA utilized its authority to establish special ordering procedures for the FSS program to promulgate the OLM rule as a special ordering procedure authorized by FAR 8.403(b) .

GSA Government-wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) Overview and DPA - Governmentwide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) enable federal agencies to buy cost-effective, innovative solutions for information technology (IT) requirements. Because most, if not all, government agencies have a need to buy IT services and solutions, GSA has made this purchasing convenient through its GWAC Programs. In this presentation, you will learn about the 8(a) STARS II, Alliant, Alliant 2, Alliant Small Business, Alliant 2 Small Business and VETS 2 GWACs.

IT Schedule 70 - This course has it all! Learn how federal, state, local, tribal, territorial governments and higher education can use the IT Schedule 70 and GSA's suite of on-line acquisition tools for everything from market research to procurement. Understand the wide range of IT products and services -- cloud, cybersecurity, health IT, and more -- all available under IT Schedule 70 with its Best in Class (BIC) offerings for hardware and software. Learn how customers can procure these products and services from pre-vetted industry partners while fostering competition and meeting Federal guidelines. And better yet, see how easy it is to procure a "complete solution" by combining requirements and creating a single acquisition under IT Schedule 70.

Professional Services -The PSS consists of seven formerly separate schedules that were consolidated in 2015 to give federal agency acquisition professionals the ability to obtain total contract solutions for their professional services requirements using one contract vehicle. The training will allow you to explain PSS, as well as various on-line tools to support customer requirements.

OASIS Overview - OASIS and OASIS Small Business (SB) are multiple award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts that provide flexible and innovative solutions for complex professional services. This class will provide an overview of the contract vehicle and current OASIS OnRamp Status.

Category Management and Acquisition Gateway - The Acquisition Gateway as an online tool envisions driving smarter acquisition by simplifying, accelerating, and improving how the Federal government selects and buys products and services. Learn more about how the Acquisition Gateway is growing as a place to find and connect with government-wide resources and tools. This class will provide a detailed review of Gateway tools that benefit users, to include the Project Center, CALC Tool, SOW Library, Solution Finder, Government-wide Category Hallways and more.

Telecom Training - Modernization in network and telecommunications services is happening at a rapid pace. Learn how you can capitalize on these advances to further agency missions. What are the technologies that should be the cornerstone of your sourcing strategy? Where can you acquire them in a timely and cost-efficient manner? GSA would like to share with you the network technologies and solutions propelling the government into 2020. In this course we will discuss how your agency can benefit from considering network technologies such as Software Defined Networking, Unified Communications and Managed Security Services. Additionally, we will discuss emerging technology in the wireless sector, like 5G, and the far-reaching opportunities they present.

Personal Property Division - Topic covers the overview of the entire personal property disposal process for anyone whose duties involve property management. It addresses definitions, regulations, policies, procedures, and point of contacts.
