Electronics Division Meeting
The NDIA Trusted Microelectronics Joint Working Group has become the new Electronics Division of NDIA. Electronics is the underlying technology of current Defense capabilities - munitions, weapons systems, communications, intelligence and more. Moreover they enable the necessary future capabilities such as robotics, AI, machine learning, and autonomous systems.
Keeping the mission – and the warfighter – strong today and into the future requires trusted and assured electronics.
The Electronics Division will work closely with our Government colleagues to address the issues critical to maintaining technological superiority and minimizing vulnerabilities and will establish and facilitate a collaborative industry/academia/ government effort to address critical issues for U.S. access to technology to produce trusted and assured components for electronic systems for defense, national security and critical commercial applications within the context of current and future electronics design, manufacturing, packaging, assembly, test, and support.
