MIL-STD-188-164C/CN1 Industry Day

The Department of Defense (DoD) is soliciting industry to provide comments on the recently release of MIL-STD-188-164C and prepare responses to satisfy unique DoD requirements to be included into the 164C/CN1 Draft. Responses should include, but are not limited to, specification adjustments in the following areas of interest: 1) Transmit phase linearity; 2) Transmit amplitude response; 3) Phase noise; 4) Maximum power flux densities; 5) Receive phase linearity; 6) Receive amplitude response; 7) Allan deviation; and 8) Variable performance terminals.

This request is solely for gathering information and planning purposes. This RFI does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any services or supplies whatsoever. All are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future solicitations or requests for proposal (RFPs).

The MIL-STD-188-164C/CN1 Industry Day will occur on Tuesday, 22nd January 2019 to Thursday, January 24 for Industry attendees. Meetings are held at 0830 - 1630. The Government only session is being held on Friday, 25th January. Meetings will be held at the Harris Corporation - Palm Bay Campus, Building 5 in Palm Bay, Florida 32905.

The available space can accommodate 70 seats, so we request contractors limit company attendance to two representatives. Harris requires all attendees to complete a Visitor "Registration" Information form and send the form to Ms. Denise Tourigian ([email protected]). The deadline for attendees to register by submitting a Visitor Registration Form is Monday, January 7th.

For those attendees who are Foreign Nationals, you will be required to complete special paperwork, please contact Ms. Denise Tourigian as soon as possible to request your Foreign National paperwork. The process to be an approved Foreign National attendee requires 5 business days, please complete and submit your paperwork no later than Monday, 7th January.
