April Monthly Speaker Series: Technology Business Management - Empowering Value from Federal IT

The Administration’s top three priorities for government IT policy promise improved service delivery and citizen experience, reduced cybersecurity risks and targeting taxpayer dollars wisely. Technology Business Management or TBM is at the heart of these priorities and will serve as a tool to help drive them forward.

The goal of TBM adoption in the public sector is to improve the accountability and transparency within the IT budget process, empowering CXOs from across the enterprise to drive mission value and improved customer experience through technology.  TBM adoption will also allow for improved benchmarking and optimization of the value of every taxpayer dollar spent on technology.

Panelists will discuss why TBM is vital for government and how agencies are using TBM taxonomy to begin changing the decision-making process today.

Learning Objectives:

  • Define Technology Business Management (TBM) and explain its value in Federal planning and budgeting.
  • Understand how TBM will improve IT planning and governance.
