Lee is a high-stature leader in the IT government services industry.  He is currently serving as president of his company – Cooper Growth Strategies LLC.  He assists with strategic planning, market assessments, business development, sales management, and competitor analysis.  He previously served as a top business development executive at Raytheon, Unisys, and Titan / L-3.  He has extensive experience making industrial presentations and has a notable reputation as a panel facilitator.

Dan Jenkin, Panelist

IT Modernization, ValidaTek, Inc.

 

Dan is a technology leader with over 20 years of experience designing and delivering enterprise level IT systems and services management in the federal and private sectors, for well-known contractors such as CACI and BAE Systems as well as startups and as an independent consultant.

 

A former CIO, he is a strategy-focused expert in digital transformation and enterprise systems leveraging cloud architecture and service-oriented architecture (SOA). Throughout his career, Dan has designed and delivered IT transformation projects covering applications transformation, DevOps, enterprise strategy and roadmap, digital enterprise, IT services catalog assessment and definition, cost modeling in support of showback/chargeback, and ITaaS maturity assessments.

 

In 2007, he was awarded the Excellence in Enterprise Architecture Award, presented by the E-Gov Institute and Federated Enterprise Architecture Certification Institute (FEAC), for his contributions to producing a Business Transformation Performance Framework measuring performance of a $2B portfolio of DoD business enterprise IT investments for the DoD Business Transformation Agency (BTA).

Susan Gerbing, Panelist

Susan is a recognized expert in Government contracting and program management most notably in Health Care and Information Technology.  Susan is a national business consultant, author, mentor, speaker, and during the past 38 years has managed more than $10 Billion of large complex contracts and projects in both the U.S. Federal Government and industry.  She is the recipient of numerous national and business awards for her teaching, consulting, and leadership. Susan has expert functional fluency in the Federal Acquisition Regulation and operated with a Federal Unlimited Warrant over 25 years as an acquisition professional within the Department of Veterans Affairs.

 

Susan founded gMg Management, Inc. in 2008 to support Federal agency acquisition and strategic planning goals as well deliver an array of Federal acquisition training topics to Federal contract personnel and small businesses.  Susan leads an executive team of Federal acquisition and program management experts who provide clients with strategic planning, program/contract management, business process improvement, as well as training and facilitation services. She is an expert in all phases of project management and Government contracts for goods, services, health care, construction, information technology, research and development.

 

Susan is active in a variety of civic and cultural organizations including Habitat for Humanity and Women Impacting Public Policy.  Outside of professional interests, she travels, reads, writes, gardens, and enjoys living in West Virginia.

Alan Chvotkin, Panelist

Executive Vice President and Counsel, Professional Services Council

 

Mr. Chvotkin is a respected expert on federal acquisition policy, legislation, and regulation. At Professional Services Council (PSC), he is responsible for the association’s legislative and regulatory policy affecting PSC’s membership. Mr. Chvotkin is an active and founding member of industry’s Acquisition Reform Working Group, which was established in 1993.

 

Prior to joining PSC, he was a vice president of AT&T Government Services where he was responsible for managing key AT&T programs and opportunities; earlier at AT&T, he was the vice president responsible for the government contracts, pricing, compliance, and proposal development organizations. From 1986 to 1995, he was corporate director of government relations and senior counsel at Sundstrand Corporation. In his early career, Mr. Chvotkin served as professional staff to the Senate Budget Committee and to the Senate Governmental Affairs Committee. He became counsel and staff director to the Senate Small Business Committee, and then counsel to the Senate Armed Services Committee.

 

Mr. Chvotkin is a member of the Supreme Court, American and District of Columbia Bar Associations. He is also a member of the National Contract Management Association and serves on its national board of advisors and as a “Fellow” of the organization. Mr. Chvotkin is also a three-time “Fed 100” winner. He has a law degree from The American University’s Washington College of Law, a master’s in public administration and a bachelor’s in political science.
