FAA IT/ISS Partnership and Training Conference

The annual FAA IT/ISS Partnership and Training Conference will take place at the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin, March 14 – March 17, 2011, with exhibit days March 14 - 16. In its 10th year hosted by the Office of the Assistant Administrator for Information Services and Chief Information Officer, this premier event will continue to expand the attendees’ knowledge with courses focusing on the latest information technology (IT) and information security systems (ISS) best practices, policies, procedures, technologies, and much more. The 2011 theme, Celebrating a Decade of Cyber Security Training, Innovation, & Idea Sharing, will commemorate the value and success of this conference over the past 10 years.

This conference give exhibitors networking opportunities with more than 800 FAA key personnel from across the nation, including: chief information officers (CIO's), information system security officers (ISSO's), information systems security managers (ISSM's), authorizing officials, system administrators, system developers, and agency executives. This is the one time each year these key personnel are together to discuss the newest and most relevant information pertaining to the Federal Aviation Administration.

In addition to an already strong attendance of FAA personnel, this year’s conference is expanding its audience to include Department of Transportation, Department of Education, U.S. Senate, Food and Drug Administration, NASA, and Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Each of these agencies will have several of their top IT executives in attendance and some will be speaking.

Industry partners are invited to showcase their latest products and services, host live demos at their booth and participate in the conference sessions.
