Multi-Service Key Management Workshop

The Federal Business Council (FBC) will proudly host the second annual Multi-Service Key Management Workshop set to convene at the Gateway Club on Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX, from Tuesday, November 2, 2010 to Thursday, November 4, 2010. The theme for this 2nd annual workshop is "KMI Transition, Transparent to the EKMS Customer" and it will provide important information about Communications Security (COMSEC), the Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) and the future Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) for members of the worldwide DoD COMSEC/EKMS community.

This workshop is intended to reach DOD-wide COMSEC custodians (Tier 2) and their users of COMSEC Equipment (Tier 3) and we will be providing information from Tier 0 and Tier 1. Also, Major Commands (MAJCOM), higher headquarters representatives, are highly encouraged to attend. Training events are also being planned.

Presenters from the National Security Agency (NSA) and DoD Key Management communities will brief on modern key management equipment/associated software and operational issues. We will maximize the three working days of the workshop with briefings and breakout sessions on current and future systems.
