4th Annual Biometrics for National Security and Defense

Biometrics is the science and technology of identifying unique human biological characteristics. An individual’s unique fingerprint, facial structure, voice, iris, and even vascular structure are keys to keeping an identification database. The collection of biometric data is an essential process for homeland security, as well as peace-keeping and stability operations across the globe. However, because of the sensitive nature of individuals’ biometric information, data management and data security are also key items to consider when obtaining biometric data. Thus, there is a constant demand for new and improved biometric technologies that can cater to the requirements of government and defense programs.

IDGA’s 4th Annual Biometrics for National Security and Defense is your opportunity to meet with key decision-makers and technology experts on what the government’s next steps are in securing our homeland for the years to come.

This year’s community event will focus on the latest innovations, program updates, requirements and solutions. Attend sessions on:

  • Current and future biometrics initiatives, capabilities and technologies
  • Interoperability requirements and technologies
  • Biometric applications in theater
  • Enhancing effectiveness and security
  • Sharing biometric data across services and agencies

IDGA’s 4th Annual Biometrics for National Security and Defense will:

  • Identify opportunities for multi-modal biometric technologies
  • Examine newly-developed biometrics systems
  • Look at aspects of database management and fusion
  • Discuss the future of programs such as NGI and US-VISIT and so much more!
