Cybersecurity For Advanced Manufacturing Joint Working Group Forum
The NDIA Cybersecurity for Advanced Manufacturing (CFAM) Joint Working Group (JWG) was launched in November 2015 as a government and industry collaboration to identify cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and consequences in defense contractors’ manufacturing networks and to define actions to mitigate those risks in compliance with DoD mandates. The CFAM JWG will provide an overview of how the cybersecurity needs of defense manufacturing networks differ from those of IT networks, and offer recommendations for improving cybersecurity in defense supply chains. We invite industry and government stakeholders and decision makers to join us in this important discussion.
The CFAM JWG team leaders will present their findings and recommendations to improve cybersecurity in the defense industrial base’s manufacturing networks. Following each team leader’s presentation, subject matter experts from government and industry will moderate an open discussion to add real-world perspective to the teams’ plans.
Open discussion time will be built into the agenda to allow contributions from forum attendees.
