AFCEA Bethesda Law Enforcement and Public Safety Technology Forum
Strengthening Operational Impact
Building on the last 7 years, the 2016 Law Enforcement and Public Safety (LEAPS) Technology Forum will examine "the practical and the art of the possible" in supporting the LEAPS community. Join government and industry executives as we engage, learn and collaborate around the priorities, gaps and program opportunities for law enforcement, homeland security and public safety agencies.
The program will also include a use case focused on "active shooter preparedness" with breakouts and interactive sessions looking at the issue from the lens of:
- Information Sharing and Security
- IT Enterprise Services
- First Responder Innovation and Applications
The May 10 agenda will include a closing keynote from the San Bernardino Police Chief, Jarrod Burguan, a networking lunch and as a one-hour training session on active shooter preparedness, provided by the Department of Homeland Security.
This program offers CEU credits.
New for 2016, LEAPS has a Welcome Reception and Panel on May 9 at the National Press Club. The evening program features a unique opportunity to gather in an intimate setting to discuss executive-level priorities within the law enforcement and public safety communities. There are a limited number of seats available for the reception, so secure yours today!
