Following the success of the last year’s conference in Munich, Germany with Clariant’s Sunliquid plant visit, and the previous one to that in Madrid with the Abengoa’s demonstration plant site visit, we are delighted to announce that next Lignofuels 2017 Conference will be taking place at the heart of the wood bioenergy industry - Finland.

The main conference will be held in Helsinki, on the 1^st and 2^nd of February 2017. A day prior the main conference, 31^st of January 2017, a limited number of conference attendees will have the unique opportunity to join an exclusive site visit to the UPM Lappeenranta Biorefinery  - The world´s first commercial scale wood-based biorefinery in Lappeenranta, Finland.

Already on its 9th edition, this two day conference will bring together key industry stakeholders. We would like to invite you to join our forum discussions and take advantage of excellent networking opportunities, meeting leaders from advanced generation biofuels companies from across the globe.

Exclusive Site Visit:

On Tuesday, 31^st of January 2017, a limited group of Lignofuels 2017 Conference delegates will receive a unique opportunity to visit the world´s first commercial scale wood-based biorefinery in Lappeenranta, Finland. There is no extra charge to join the site visit although places are limited. Places are allocated on first come first served basis, we would strongly suggest to book your place early to avoid disappointment.
