Hackers Inc., or the Industrialization of Hacking, is the newest manifestation of cyber crime with many similarities to traditional organized crime. It is far more organized than ever before in terms of specialized roles, optimizing the use of compromised assets, and applying automation. Financial and political motivations are the primary drivers. Regardless of the motive, the attack vectors and results are similar.

Active and passive research has been conducted to examine how cyber criminals operate. In addition to sharing our research methodology and findings, multiple modern attack vectors will be explored such as automated and business logic attacks. Further, this presentation will outline pragmatic and visionary approaches to mitigating industrialized hackers.
