Seminar on Presentation Skills for Technical Professionals

Overview:

Presentation Skills for Technical Professionals is a hands-on workshop that helps participants become comfortable, confident, and masterful presenters. The principles presented will be applicable to all business settings. Course content will be customized to focus on the interests and concerns of all attending. Participants will be given practice exercises designed specifically for them. They will have the opportunity to make several presentations and receive positive feedback and personal coaching from the instructor.

Why should you attend?

It is understandable as technical professionals we need to place most of our energy and attention upon developing the technical aspects of our jobs. At the same time, it's also critical that we master our communication skills, especially our ability to deliver clear and convincing presentations. Because at some point (if not at many points) during any project we are working on, we will invariably be called upon to "check-in" with the leadership of our department or organization to simply explain, step-by-step what is currently happening with our project: the challenges we and our team are facing, and or perhaps how close we are to completion. How well we go about presenting this information to these decision-makers can play a key role in the overall success of our project.

Who will benefit:

  • Project leaders and their collaborators
  • managers
  • supervisors
  • sales executives
  • seasoned professionals who are seeking to revitalize or broaden their presentation skills, and those that are not yet in leadership positions but are being groomed for the role.
