This Ain't Your Daddy's Crisis Anymore!

Social media has significantly altered the cause and creation of crisis. In addition to facing the potential for major crises, which come along only occasionally, governments must now cope with the many mini-crises borne on social media as well. The new emphasis in crisis management? Diffuse the issue before it hits the mass media. Spero Canton will share inside information on the social media audiences you should be addressing and the most effective way to communicate with them. He'll discuss how to match messages to demographics, use multiple platforms to extend your reach, and address potential crises before they spread.
