Convergence 2015 CMS IT Conference

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is holding its first Information Technology (IT) Conference, “Convergence 2015” on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at its central office located in Baltimore, MD. 

This conference provides a single forum where technology efforts, including lessons learned from recent projects are shared across the organization. This forum enables collaboration, facilitates communication and provides the opportunity for technology alignment throughout the agency. Business components throughout CMS are presenting the material for each of the information sessions, which are open to all CMS personnel as well as contractors that provide technology support.

Outside vendors are being given the opportunity to advertise their services at this conference. Although exhibits for any technology will be considered, the following are the areas where CMS efforts are currently focused:

• New Development Software Tools & Languages
• Technology Training
