Public CIO Technology Summit 2015 Detroit
The Public CIO Technology Summit is an invitation only educational event that brings together a select group of CIOs, CTOs and other technology leadership from the largest city, county, and state IT organizations around the country. Participants will gather for a day and a half of interactive dialogue around our Public CIO Special Report topics and other top-of-mind operational issues. This event’s collaborative format provides an opportunity to learn from your peers and exchange ideas on key areas of technology, management, policy, and strategy unique to large government information technology agencies.

We selected Detroit this year as we have never hosted this event in Michigan and felt it was time to lend our support to the recovery of a great American city.  We are working on the event with David Behen, CIO of Michigan, and Beth Niblock, CIO of Detroit, to ensure we can highlight the unique features of Michigan.  We have also confirmed Marcy Klevorn, CIO of Ford Motor Company, as a guest speaker during the event.
Topics will include:
- How Many Chiefs does it Take to…? CIO/CTO/CDO
 - Security in a World of No Perimeters
 - Citizen’s and Portals – What are they Saying?
 - Data Information Governance – Does that Make You Yawn?
 - Future-proof Network Infrastructure
 - Ford Motor Company – An American Icon
