The Center for Digital Education is hosting a Market Briefing event in Atlanta, GA and we hope you can join us.

IT leaders from Georgia school districts will be on hand for a special briefing on their technology plans, priorities and focus for the coming years. With over 38,000 students, Cherokee County School District adheres to the belief that technology should play a vital role in meeting the needs of a broad range of abilities, disabilities, cultural backgrounds and ethnic populations. Cherokee County’s vision is to ensure equitable access to current technological resources. Dekalb County School District has over 98,000 students; the district’s mission is to prepare 21st century students to thrive and succeed in a diverse and ever-changing world. Dekalb recognizes that technology is one of the support systems that will foster a culture and learning environment in which teachers and students will be able to perform at high levels, as well as support new innovations. Fulton County School District is committed to providing students access to technology. With over 91,000 students, Fulton supports helping students discover what they need in order to be successful in a 21st century environment.

The participants will be briefing the audience on district plans in a variety of topic areas, including computing infrastructure, mobile devices, digital content and curriculum, professional development, cyber security and their plans to incorporate blended learning models.
